What each model prices: a percentage of collections covers the whole claim cycle including submission, which is why it comes with a higher floor. A per-claim price or a lower single percentage covers a narrower job. Teero's 2% applies to insurance collections and covers posting, aging, denials, secondary claims and appeals. Teero does not submit claims, so its price is not comparable line for line with a full-service percentage.
Worked example at Teero's 2% of insurance collections, before volume discounts: $800 (the minimum) at $30,000 a month in insurance collections, $1,500 at $75,000 and $3,000 at $150,000. At $150,000 a month, eAssist's tiered bands come to $3,750 to $5,000 per its published pricing.
